GARY TRENT MURCHISON Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on December 1, 2007, Gary passed away at his home at the age of 53 years. Gary is lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Paulette of 32 years, his son Joel, his mother Florence Sharples, his brothers, Larrie, Terrie, Dwight (Shirley), Dana (Margaret), his sister Penny (Hank) Byholt, and their families as well as other relatives, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father Edward. Gary was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the youngest of six children. He worked as Terminal Manager for ASL Distributions. Gary was a man of great integrity and courage touching many people's lives with his love and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. As he often said It is what it is. He loved the beauty of nature and found great enjoyment in working in his yard. Gary was a firm believer in being true to yourself, your personal values and to stand up for your beliefs. The family would like to thank Dr. Ralph Wong, Dr. Ben Yip, Kathy Kyryluk as well as the nurses and staff from CancerCare at the St. Boniface Hospital. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, December 7 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles' Roman Catholic Church, 320 St. Charles St., with Rev. Fr. Terance P. McGrath officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Flowers gratefully declined. The family would greatly appreciate donations to be made in Gary's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
